Way back in the early 1900's immigrants were good for the economy and U.S. citizens thought that to much immigration would hurt them economically. U.S. citizens were proven wrong and U.S. citizens were never hurt, if fact they gained.
Today it's a different story with past thoughts. Backwards government officials are still clinging to the thought immigration will not hurt anyone but in fact in todays economic society immigration has hurt people economically. People have been hurt really bad.
The reason why immigration has hurt U.S. citizens bad economically is that in the 1970's legal immigration was tripled and illegal immigration has gone unchecked. Legal immigrats are being rubber stamped as fast as they can apply and illegal immigrats just walk over the border and say, "I'm Here", Gimmie some welfare and a house.
To many immigrants have overrun U.S. resources to the point demand is greater than supply and prices for resources U.S. citizens need for their daily lives has skyrocketed. U.S. citizens are in a financial crisis due to high demand and no new resources being created to meet the demand of 100 million illegal immigrants and who knows how many legal immigrants that got rubber stamped.
U.S. citizens will be crushed by a financial crisis for many years to come if illegal immigration isn't stopped and legal immigration isn't cut back to 1950's levels.
Legal Immigration is good for the U.S. but only at a reasonalbly level and illegal immigration must come to an end with all of the illegal immigrants removed completely and replaced with only enough legal immigrants to keep the economy running smooth and easy.
