I've done some research on this issue the liberal hippies are complaining about and have come to the conclusion their issue with the widening gap between the rich and the poor is their own fault.
It's the truth that all the jobs are going to China and other countries that can supply cheap labor. All the jobs going to China are due to Bill Clinton accepting China in the WTO which is a liberal blunder. Some fault is given to the republicans for creating NAFTA which when created was meant to create free trade with foreign born companies but in reality and the way NAFTA turned out is that U.S. born companies move to these free trade countries for manufacturing depleting the U.S. of good paying manufacturing jobs.
Another blunder by the liberal democrats is keeping the flow of cheap latino labor coming across the border. Canadian, Chinese and African citizens also flock to the U.S. illegally pushing out U.S. citizens from any jobs that are left and not outsourced overseas. President Bush carries some blame for this surge in illegal immigration because he was a liberal to corporate greed but Clinton, Obama and the democratic party carry 90% of the blame for illegal immigration because they just don't care about U.S. sovereignty and care more about turning the U.S. into a government controlled communist nation.
The widening income gap between the rich and the poor is basically due to the outsourcing of jobs to foreign nations and the increasing number of illegal and legal immigrants entering the U.S.
The wealthy will always move towards cheap labor anyway they can get it then selling their product or service for as much money as they can get.
There are a few other issues that contribute to the widening income gap between the rich and poor that should be addressed but until illegal immigration is stopped and legal immigration is cut back to 1960 levels along with reversing the outsourcing of U.S. jobs to foreign countries the income gap between the rich and the poor will not shrink at all.
Some of the blame lies on the republicans but most of the blame lies on the democrats and their liberal base for trying to create socialism and globalization through outsourcing and immigration.
